Notebook – Basic Pamphlet Bindings

Hand bound pamphlet binding notebook, covered in decorative paper.

These beautiful decorative small books are an excellent notebook for your bag. Flexible, yet durable, they will last and add a little bit of handbound delightfulness to your everyday!

The basic pamphlet binding is the first stage in developing your binding skills, using only a single section, they are a teaching aid to learn basic skills in handling paper and sewing folios and endpapers. This particular design, I have adapted to be simple, yet also include a square at the foredge of the book and coloured endpapers. This gives your book more strength at its foredge as well as tactile finish.

Selecting a number in the dropdown list will show you the cover of that book. Please ensure that you have selected the book you would like.

The covers vary from hand marbled papers, decorative papers and papers that I have designed myself.

The paper used in these books will be one of the below, and is unfortunately not selectable. You should be able to see if it is brown or white paper in the image on the edge of the book.

Canson Cartridge Paper is a fantastic basic off white paper with a slightly rough finish that feels great to work with. At 100gsm it has a high quality feel and, makes it a nice paper to write and draw on.

Cairn Eco Kraft is 100% recycled and brown in colour. It has a slightly calendared finish on one side and a rougher finish on the other. At 100gsm it is a high quality paper and will add a pleasant bulk to your book.

Approximately A6
Approximately 8 bifolios, making 16 leaves.
